Southdown’s Brighton and Hove Recovery College, offer FREE educational courses and workshops as a route to recovery from mental health challenges. Courses and Workshops are designed and delivered by people with lived experience of mental health challenges, together with clinical staff and other professionals.
The College is provided in partnership with the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and as part of the UOK Brighton & Hove network.
The College say:
“Once again we will be offering a range of interesting courses and workshops. With the summer months upon us we will be delivering some of our outdoor courses again, including Spending Time in Nature and Mindful Photography. We will also be offering some new and returning courses such as Autism and Employment, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Drama Games for Confidence and Developing Self-Esteem.
If you are new to Brighton & Hove Recovery College, then we’d love to welcome you to join us this term.”
Summer term will run from 22nd May through to 28th July. There’s lots of additional support for anyone who’d like to find out more before applying or may be apprehensive about attending, starting with an Open Day event at The Brighthelm Centre on Wednesday 3rd May, from 11am – 3pm.
The enrolment window for Summer term will run from Wednesday 3rd May until Monday 15th May.
