Why Are We Stuck in Hospital? Exhibition and free creative workshop by Fabrica

UOK partner, Fabrica, is hosting “Why Are We Stuck in Hospital?”, a powerful exhibition by Foka Wolf that shines a light on the often-overlooked issue of autistic people and people with learning disabilities living in long-stay hospitals.

Through a series of thought-provoking posters, the exhibition responds to research highlighting the disproportionate number of individuals with these conditions residing in long-term hospital care. By raising awareness and challenging perceptions, “Why Are We Stuck in Hospital?” aims to spark vital conversations about the root causes of this problem and the urgent need for change.
