UOK Partner Money Advice Plus has announced the re-launch of its successful Lift Up Project, aimed at enhancing financial capability. The Project is offering two-hour workshops and 1-to-1 Financial Capabilty Coaching sessions.
Both the workshop and the Coaching Sessions are free of charge.
Financial Capability Workshop: Understanding and being more in control of your money
This workshop will help you:
- Check on your current money situation and how to balance spending “needs” and spending “wants”
- Reflect on spending habits and consider strategies and behaviours to help manage your finances
- Consider savings goals and opportunities
- Start on a personalised money plan
- Learn about 1-to-1 Financial Capabilty Coaching and other help available from Money Advice Plus
Workshop Dates:
Wednesday, 17th July – 10 am-12 pm
Tuesday 30th July – 10 am-12 pm
Wednesday 28th August – 2 pm – 4 pm
Who can access the project?
You must be in one of the following groups:
- Employed
- Self-employed
- Moving into employment, (you have received a job offer or are waiting to start work)
The household must have no more than £2000 in savings.
A one-off grant of £200 is available for people who are eligible who attend a workshop or a financial capability coaching session.
